A colourful blend of arts & culture...
Welcome.
The Brant Performing Arts group was formed in 2010 for the mutual benefit of Brantford and area's local performing arts organizations to share resources, marketing opportunities and networking. The group includes choirs, concert bands, presenters, theatre groups, storytellers, teachers, and even symphony orchestras.
We meet each month to share ideas and information, and welcome presentations by guest speakers. Seasonly, we publish a bookmark promoting members' events. These are distributed widely in public places and to member groups for use at their events. We also plan collaborative promotional events such as booth displays at festivals.
The Brant Performing Arts Group benefits from our partnership with the City of Brantford through the Economic Development and Tourism Department with which we have been working to mutually support Arts and Culture in our community.
Through this relationship our members receive notice of funding and grants available from various sources including the City of Brantford - Community Cultural Investment Program (CCIP), City of Brantford and Brant Community Foundation Grants and other helpful organizations.
We also have a BPA representative on the Brantford Cultural Advisory Committee, who reports to City Council on a regular basis. This gives us a much needed voice direct to Council.
All BPA members are performing arts organizations or support organizations for performing arts in Brantford, Brant County, and Six Nations. If you are a group or individual that fits this description, we would love to hear from you. Please visit the Contact Us section of this website for the membership form to become a member.
The current annual membership fee is $75.00 to cover joint marketing costs.
